Dementia in pets… this is a very difficult subject to talk about for 2 reasons really:
1) none of us like to think about our pets (or ourselves!) getting old
2) it can be difficult to recognise in our pets
Lets Talk about older dogs and Cats
Personally I think older dogs and cats are great!
But, unfortunately they sometimes get a raw deal
Many issues that could be causing your old dog or cat pain CAN be helped ( not necessarily cured) with some medication.
So, I thought I would start a blog!
Every day, both in work and out of work I get people asking my opinion on many things – some animal-related and some with very tenuous animal links! Usually, these are preceded by or are followed by the words ‘ well, you are a vet’.
